Who we are
TradeLens is an independent publisher covering offshore fixed-time and digital options brokers from the point of view of readers based in India. This edition is dedicated to one brand — Pocket Option — because it is the brand Indian readers search for most, and because the honest answer to most of those searches is more complicated than either the marketing or the outrage suggests.
We are not Pocket Option, we are not affiliated with its operator, and we do not accept deposits, hold client funds or place trades. Nothing here is a recommendation to trade.
How we work
Every page starts from a documented source: the operator's own public pages, and the published positions of India's financial regulators. Where a figure cannot be confirmed from one of those, we publish a range or leave it out rather than repeat a number found on a review blog or a Telegram channel.
We are careful about two claims in particular. We do not write that Pocket Option is "legal in India", because no Indian regulator has approved it; and we do not write that it is "banned in India", because that is equally unsupported. What we can state is that the operator is offshore, that it carries no SEBI registration, and that an Indian reader personally carries the FEMA and tax-reporting consequences of trading with it.
We have not opened, funded or traded a live account with this broker, and we never claim to have done so. What you get instead is an evaluation framework: what to check, what the published record actually says, and where the gaps are. Terms, payout percentages, minimums and payment options change without notice — always confirm the live terms on the operator's own pages before acting on anything you read here.
Who edits this site
Editorial responsibility sits with Ananya Deshmukh, Markets Editor. Corrections are welcome and handled quickly; if a page here is out of date or wrong, we would rather hear it from a reader than leave it standing.
How we are paid
TradeLens's funding model is affiliate partnerships. No partner program is connected to this site at present, so nothing a reader clicks here earns us a commission today, and there are no tracking links on these pages. Where such a partnership does exist in future, we may earn a commission on accounts opened through links we publish, and we will say so plainly. Our funding model is set out in full on the "How we are funded" page.
A word on risk
Fixed-time and digital options are high-risk, short-horizon speculation. Losing the full amount staked is a normal outcome, not an edge case, and no strategy, signal service or bot changes the structure of the product. Most retail accounts in this category lose money. Treat anything you put in as money you can afford to lose entirely.
